How many colors does the printer use and why?

Answer

We have five UV colors CMYKW. The advantages of using UV Ink are Consistently High Quality Finishes, Consistently High Quality Finishes, Material Versatility and more.

How long does it take you to set up the printer?

Answer

Usually takes around 10-15 minutes to assemble everything.

What type of files can you print from?

Answer

PDF, JPG, TIFF, PSD, BMP, PNG, Al, etc.

How long do the photos last for inside and outside?

Answer

The indoor images can be kept for 15 years without fading! When it comes to outdoor images can be kept for 5 years without fading with UV protection! Long story short it’s going to last.

What is the print height for the machine?

Answer

The standard picture print height is 4-6 ft. With our custom vertical track we’re about to print up to 9 ft.

What materials can the machine print on?

Answer

Brick, sheet rock, stucco, paper, wood, stone, concrete. Our UV-wall printer can also print on non-absorbent surfaces such as glass, plastics, tile, and metal.

Is it possible to enlarge print to make the image taller? Will the photo appear to be in two parts?

Answer

Yes, you can stitch the photos together to make the image seamless! The image will be printed with a feathering effect and does not appear to be two parts. It’s very clean looking.

If the wall is somewhat curved, can it be tracked by the machine? Or can you only print on a completely flat surface? Are there different types of printers or just one type?

Answer

The machines are equipped with sensors that automatically sense the flatness of the wall, so it won’t be an issue. The machine can print high quality murals on slightly curved walls and over or around imperfections that maybe on the wall.

What resolution would you recommended for room decoration? What is the printable amount in sq ft and how long would it take to complete the project?

Answer

The highest resolution we can do is 2880 dpi. Room decoration styles are recommended to print at a resolution of 720-1440 dpi. The system can print about 140 square feet wall image per hour!

Can you print on tile, glass, mirrors, and metals?

Answer

Yes you can! The UV wall printers can print on non-absorbent surfaces such as glass, tile and different type of metals.
